No ad networks. No ad tracking.
We do not sell your data, and Manjo will never carry ads. That is a public commitment we have written down, and it holds on every plan. Your cooking habits belong to you.
Coming soon to iPhone
Send a recipe over WhatsApp and it is gone by Thursday. Save it in Manjo and it lands in a cookbook you share with the people you actually cook with, ready to cook from.
The first 150 subscribers lock Pro at €2.99/month for as long as they stay subscribed.
Why Manjo
Save from anywhere
Paste a link, snap a handwritten card or share a Reel or a TikTok. Manjo pulls out the ingredients and the steps and leaves the clutter behind, so what you saved is a recipe you can cook from, not a bookmark you forget.
Cook together
Share a cookbook with your partner, your flatmates or your family. Everyone adds, edits and cooks from the same recipes, and the shopping list fills itself from what you plan to make. It syncs live and keeps working in the supermarket basement.
Make it yours
Let's Cook walks you through one step at a time, with the timers built in and your hands free for the pan. Twist It makes a recipe vegetarian, halves it or swaps the dairy, and the original stays exactly as it was.
How it works
Paste a link, a photo of a cookbook page, plain text or a cooking video. Manjo turns it into a clean, structured recipe.
Your recipes land in cookbooks you share with your partner, family or friends. Everyone adds, everyone cooks.
Let's Cook walks you through steps hands-free, with timers built in. No more scrolling with flour on your thumbs.
One tap builds a shared shopping list from any recipe. It syncs live, and it keeps working offline in the store.

Private by design, made in Europe
We do not sell your data, and Manjo will never carry ads. That is a public commitment we have written down, and it holds on every plan. Your cooking habits belong to you.
Your recipes and your account live in Frankfurt. The AI that reads your recipes is Mistral, made in France and run in the EU, and every service that handles your data processes it in the EU. GDPR is our home turf. Even the fonts on this page come from our own domain, so reading it does not hand your IP address to Google.
Everything you save is yours to take. Ask for your whole account as a data export whenever you want, on any plan. Pro also turns a cookbook into a PDF or EPUB you can keep, print or hand to someone.
Recipe covers are always real photography. We never generate fake food photos. Anything AI writes or makes carries a visible AI label. We mark what we generate and we surface what others mark.

Questions
Manjo is a recipe app for people who cook together. It captures recipes from links, photos, text and videos, keeps them in shared cookbooks, and handles the cooking and shopping side too.
That is exactly what it is built for. Shared cookbooks, shared shopping lists and cook-along mode are the core of Manjo, and they were there in the first version rather than bolted on later.
Notes are great at holding text, and everything after that is the hard part. Manjo turns a saved recipe into a shopping list, rewrites it for four people when it was written for two, reads the steps out while your hands are covered in flour, and lets your partner add to the same cookbook from their own phone. If your notes app already does all that, stay where you are.
Recipe blogs, most cooking sites, photos of cookbook pages, screenshots, handwritten cards, plain text you paste in and cooking videos all go in. The honest limits: very messy handwriting, videos that never say the quantities out loud, and paywalled sites we cannot read. Whatever comes out, you can edit any of it by hand.
Yes. Paste a link to a cooking video and Manjo extracts the recipe. Video import is in beta: 3 imports a month are free, and Pro removes the cap.
Yes. Saving recipes, sharing cookbooks, cooking and shopping lists are free forever. Pro (€4.99/month or €44.99/year) adds unlimited captures, offline access and cookbook export.
Yes, and you should be able to. Ask for a full export of your account data on any plan. Pro turns a cookbook into a PDF or EPUB you can keep, print or hand to someone who has never heard of us. We would rather earn the next month than lock the door.
You drop back to the Free plan and keep every recipe you have saved. Free includes unlimited recipe saves, so going back does not delete anything.
Manjo launches on iPhone in autumn 2026, with a public beta before that. Join the waitlist to get in first, and to grab one of the 150 founder spots.
No, and never. No ad networks, no ad tracking, no selling data. Manjo is funded by Pro subscriptions, which means the people paying for it and the people using it are the same people.
Who is building this
Manjo is made by Code & Canvas, a studio registered in the Netherlands under KvK 99849526. It started because we kept losing recipes in a group chat, which turns out to be most people's story.
We have not launched yet, so there are no download counts or five-star quotes on this page. What there is instead: everything we have promised, written down, dated and linked below. Read them before you give us your email, and hold us to them afterwards.
